Fiedler from 1983 to 2019. A frequent lecturer on medical malpractice, Mr. Fiedler began his career as a defense attorney in medical malpractice in 1978.
Mr. Fiedler graduated from Syracuse University in 1975. He obtained a Doctor of Jurisprudence from California Western School of Law in 1978. Mr. Fiedler was later admitted to practice law in New York in 1979 as well as before the U.S. District Courts of the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
An esteemed attorney, Mr. Fiedler was featured in segments on Court TV, as well as interviews by 60 Minutes. Mr. Fiedler has served as a varsity basketball coach for Mott Haven High School and presently at Lehman High School in the Bronx. He has coached for and serves on the board of New Heights NYC. He has frequently coached Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) basketball. In this way he is able to serve inner city youth by attempting to level the playing field for them and do everything he can to see that they get an excellent academic education and succeed in life thereafter.
Mr. Fiedler initially became involved in his profession due to the influence of his father, Norman D. Fiedler, who was also an attorney. There were also the eminent inspirations of Michael O. Sawyer and Steven Ludd, two of his law professors at Syracuse University. He prides himself on his ability to give each and every one of his clients the confidence that their cases are very important to him, and that he will respond fluidly and competently to their concerns. Looking to the future, Mr. Fiedler has no plans to retire, as he considers his work far too important and very enjoyable.
