Adam E. Deutsch Obtains $4 Million Verdict In Westchester Supreme Court

White Plains, NY: Fiedler Deutsch, LLP partner Adam E. Deutsch obtained a $4 Million dollar jury verdict award in Supreme Court Westchester County on behalf of his client. The case, involving the negligence of Dr. Joseph R. Zajac, involved a failed urological procedure performed at Lawrence Hospital in Bronxville, NY. As result of the procedure our client suffered a torn urethra, and damage to her bladder that resulted in severe bladder spasms, incontinence, and required the implantation of a nerve stimulator. Prior to the trial the defendants insurance company refused to offer any money to resolve the case opting instead to go to trial. After a nearly two week trial the jury returned the verdict unanimously in less than two hours.
